|Saturday Night Ceilidh
6:00PM - 10:00PM
|A ceilidh is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering. In contemporary usage
it involves playing Gaelic music and dancing. We'll have entertainment, pipe bands, and you are more
than welcome to bring your musical instrument and dancing shoes and perform for the crowd.
And as tradition would have it this is a potluck so bring your best Celtic dishes, whether it be a side dish, dessert or whatever. We will have a cook available to grill your meat, if you so choose to bring a steak or chicken or whatever. Beverages will be for sale.
So bring Mom and Dad and the whole family and join in the ceilidh fun.
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Mother Lode Highland Games & Celtic Gathering where
you can experience Scotland without having to purchase a plane ticket.
We have a great lineup of Celtic music entertrainers, 11 pipe bands, foods from Scotland, Celtic
Marketplace living history, and never forget the Modern Clans, along the Royal Mile you will see their
tartans proudly flying. Visit the Clan Village where you can talk to the various clansmen, obtain
genealogy information and maybe look up your own family history.
So mark your calendar and come on out to the
